Father Troy and Deacon David rely on our Altar Servers to celebrate many sacraments in our parish. In order to best fulfill that role, we are making a few changes to how our Altar Servers are scheduled and trained.

Please mark your calendar for the following dates:

On Sunday, October 25, 2026 we are holding a Altar Server Refresher course for servers who have previously been trained. This will be held in the Church between masses from 9:45- 10:15. CLICK HERE to RSVP for this training.

On Monday, Nov 2, 2026 from 1:50-3:05 there will be a NEW server training in the Church. If you are 5th grade and up, or would like to be trained for funerals, you can pick up a permission slip in the office to attend this training during school hours.

On Sunday, Nov 15, 2026 there will be a MANDATORY parent meeting in between masses from 9:45-10:15 in the Demazenod room for all parents of servers. This meeting will cover the changes to the program at IHM and will go over the expectations and privileges of being a server. If you would like your child to continue to serve at IHM you need to be at this meeting.

Altar Servers are essential to our parish life and we are so grateful to work together to support our parish in this role!
