Welcome to the Immaculate Heart of Mary Music Department! The primary choir of this community of faith is the gathered assembly, united in offering in song of praise and thanksgiving to God. If you would like to deepen your involvement in the Church’s liturgy through music, there are many opportunities for adults and children. Chamber Choir
SATB adult choir who sings exciting choral works together, offering our voices on feast days and weekend Mass. Ministry includes the thrilling Christmas/Easter seasons and intermediate-advanced choral music throughout the year. New singers and non-readers are most welcome, get ready to get to work and explore some of the best choral music out there! Practice – Wednesdays 7-8 pm
Christmas Choir
Two months of thrilling Christmas music, for those who can practice Nov-Dec to fill out our Chamber Choir! No weekend commitments, just Wed night rehearsals and Christmas Eve 10:30 pm Mass. Practice – Nov-Dec, Wednesdays 7-8 pm
Bell Choir
A dedicated group of music readers who master the art of ringing the bells. We master rhythm and time, enhancing liturgy and calling people to prayer with our distinct sound. If you can count to 4, you can be a ringer too! Practice (starting mid-October) – Wednesdays 6-7 pm. Weekend Mass as scheduled, play for Christmas and Easter Mass
Children’s Choir (3-6 Grade)
Children’s Choir for the Music Explorer! Sing in all kinds of styles, learn rhythm through chime playing, and discover beautiful melodies and simple part singing. You, too, can make a beautiful sound unto the Lord! Practice (starting Mid-October) – Wednesdays 4-4:45 pm. Occasional weekend Mass, sing for 4:00 Christmas Eve Mass
Resurrection Choir
Daytime choir that ministers to parish families grieving losses at funeral Masses. All singing experiences are welcome. Singers are called upon in the event of a funeral, and you join when available. Melody or part singing welcome! Practice – Typically a 10 am practice right before an 11 am Funeral Mass
Seedling Choir (K – 2nd grade)
Children’s Choir for our littlest voices. Play games, sing songs, and praise God by letting your light shine bright! Practice (starting Mid October) – Wednesdays 3:30-4 pm. Occasional weekend Mass, sing for 4:00 Christmas Eve Mass
