Una Caro (One Flesh) We look forward to seeing all of our couples—seasoned and new! – on
September 20, after the 5:00 Mass at Una Caro.

Many years ago, Fr. Troy started date night at IHM because marriage matters and is under attack.
As a deacon, one of the calls God has put on my heart is to support marriage any way I can. It is
truly a gift, then, that Julie and I have been invited to be part of a team reimagining and restarting
IHM Date Night.

Going forward, IHM Date Night will have a 3-fold mission: (1) to strengthen marriages (remember
your first love), (2) to build community, and (3) to be intentionally inter-generational. We plan on
achieving these goals through breaking bread together and focusing on the Good, the True and the
Beautiful. We will typically meet once in the fall, once in the winter and once in the spring.

Since we are emphasizing strengthening the unity and community in marriage, we would also like
to announce a new name for Date Nights: Una Caro (One Flesh).
I would like to highlight one aspect of the mission and make a request. The inter-generational
nature of this gathering is critical. We want our experienced couples to share wisdom with younger
couples and to be reinvigorated in their relationships by experiencing the fervor of the younger
couples. The request is simple: if you have been married for 20 years or more, please consider
coming and sharing your love and wisdom.

Cost is $25 per couple, collected at the door, please RSVP below. Reservations accepted through Wednesday, Septemeber 17th!
