Immaculate Heart of Mary has a long tradition of protecting human life from conception to natural death. Our ministry educates the community, partners with local support agencies, and encourages prayer for the dignity of every person.
The Respect Life Ministy is expanding its reach through new partnerships to protect the most vulnerable. We welcome new members!
Would you be willing to pray for one hour to end abortion? 40 Days for life is a pro-life effort that consists of 40 days of praying, fasting, and holding a peaceful vigil in front of an abortion facility. The spring campaign will take place February 18 through March 29. This will be the 33rd campaign in Grand Rapids and will take place in front of Planned Parenthood at 425 Cherry St SE in Grand Rapids. Dozens of area churches have adopted a day of prayer. IHM has adopted Sunday, March 15th 1-7 pm AND Friday, March 20th 7 am-1 pm to pray at the peaceful vigil. At least two individuals are needed for each hour of the vigil.
