Killgoar Foundation
The Killgoar Foundation was established in 1987 to provide long-term funding for Immaculate Heart of Mary School in the areas of tuition assistance, capital and program support and professional staff development. Since it's founding, our school has received nearly $750,000 in funding from the Killgoar Foundation since 1998. This annual support is a mainstay of the school’s financial stability, with nearly all of the funding being used for tuition assistance. This year nearly 20% of our student body is receiving assistance. This help is often the difference in being able to choose Catholic education over other options.
A board of trustees, whose members serve staggered three-year terms, is responsible for raising money and managing foundation funds. In addition to providing a variety of ways to donate, the foundation sponsors the annual IHM Parish Winter Social held the last Saturday before Ash Wednesday, and the Killgoar Open golf tournament held in June.
For more information about the foundation, please contact the foundation president Jon Hendrickson. If you need tuition assistance, please ask the parish or school office for information.
