Habitat for Humanity Catholic Build Project August 12th! Come Join In!!

IHM Parish Volunteers needed for Habitat of Humanity work day – Saturday August 12th.

Our Parish will be participating in another work day, volunteering to help build the multi-family Habitat of Humanity project on Saturday August 12th from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. The site is across the street from the Basilica of St. Adalbert at 648 4th St NW. This project is being promoted to the parishes throughout the diocese by our Bishop David Walkowiak. We will work with volunteers from at least one other parish on that day. The construction schedule at that time will be framing and siding. However the project is a few weeks ahead of schedule thanks to the great support from all the volunteers helping with this project, so we may be working on other stages of the project on that day.

You are encouraged to participate no matter what your skilled or unskilled work experiences you possess. We will limited to 20 volunteers(age 16 or older) from our parish to work that day so please sign up early. We will also need some additional volunteers to help coordinate, supply and serve lunch for the workers, and will be appreciated greatly by all involved.

To sign up for this project or volunteer to help with lunch, please email Dan Heintz at dadrheintz@yahoo.com or sign up on HERE using sign up genius. You can also contact Dan Heintz by phone at 616-560-8982.
